- Authors
Trouvain, Jürgen
- Abstract
The article describes the IFCASL corpus as a phonetic learner corpus that provides detailed phonetic and phonological annotations. The corpus contains audio recordings of 100 speakers, 50 with German as their native language and 50 with French as their native language. It is shown that the corpus can be used for phonetic studies of production and perception. It is also noted that the IFCASL corpus is a valuable resource for the development of computer-assisted pronunciation training (CAPT). PhonLKs provide a valuable resource for linguistic research and use in language teaching.
