- Abstract
The article presents a longitudinal multiple case study of three school improvement initiatives in Germany that examines the role of principal leadership practices in promoting teacher collaboration and organizational change. The study describes a theoretical framework of organizational learning and organizational change and examines the function of teachers as change agents. It investigates school structure, leadership, teachers' perceptions and teacher collaboration.
