The article focuses on an event organized by members of the Hampshire Coppice Group in which they were seen as quality log suppliers in the local firewood market. It is noted that discussions on the stacking of a load, whether hand-packed into the edges and corners or a flung-in pack with the heap in the middle made a difference were held. The consequences of stacking or flinging-in standard 9in logs or longer 12in logs were also explained.
