- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights regarding the role of lawyers in the society from the former U.S. President John Adams to Guantanamo, Cuba. The author states that Adams was born in 1735 and studied at Harvard College to be clergyman. He says that Adams was also a collaborator of the former U.S. President Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence. Moreover, he stresses the bar members to engage in pro bono representation and public service.
