- Abstract
An interview is presented with Canadian playwright Judith Thompson. When asked about "Hedda Gabler," which is a play by Henrik Ibsen, Thompson explains why the play has been so important to women in the theatre. Thompson also explains how she came to adapt and direct the play for the 1991 Shaw Festival. Thompson discusses the title character and that of Lovborg.
