The article discusses the application of the legal doctrine in tort law, respondeat superior, as the at-home and remote work options become popular in the U.S. Topics discussed include employers' liability for wrongful acts committed by their employees occurring within the scope of their employment, the link between respondeat superior and workers' compensation in relation to defining the scope of employment, and the view that courts should uphold strict liability in respondeat superior cases.
