- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 35-year-old man who reported complaints of backpain with radiation to the outer aspect of his right leg for 1 year. Although there was no history of trauma, physical examination revealed firm, nontender swelling over the right lumbar paraspinal region with normal overlying skin and that there was no neural deficit. He was later diagnosed with periosteal chondroma on histopathologic examination. The cause and nature of the impairment are also discussed.
