- Abstract
The article focuses on the life and works of Lawrence Peter Hollis, superintendent of the Parker District in Greenville, South Carolina. He graduated from the South Carolina College with a bachelor of art's (B. A.) degree in 1905. He was appointed as head of the Victor-Monaghan elementary schools in 1916. He has received honorary degrees from Furman University and the University of South Carolina.
