- Abstract
An interview with Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, an author and poet, is presented about the Gaelic literary tradition, Irish women's poetry and poet Federico García Lorca's influence on Irish literature. Some of the issues she addressed include her portrayal of religious figures in her poetry, what makes her poetry Irish and the role that metre, rhyme and other technical conventions played in her work.
