A poetry criticism of the poem "Tintern Abbey" by William Wordsworth is presented. Topics discussed include allusions the poet to Song of Songs erotic poems of the "Bible", presence of incomplete comparisons and elisions in the poem, poet's comparison of himself as lover, and similarity in the technique of the poet in writing poems with that of biblical spur.
