- Abstract
The article discusses the practice of financial planning, and offers a formula which the author asserts is a useful, universal tool for financial planners working with most affluent people. The formula's focus on identifying goals and objectives, collecting and analyzing data, developing a plan and implementing strategies is commented on, and its benefit of allowing the clients of financial planners to understand the planning process is examined. The importance of good relationships between planners and clients is also touched on.
