- Abstract
The article reports on the research conducted by the AARP Financial Inc. which indicates that women are more affected in the financial and emotional implications of a life crisis compared to men. It is stated that in the survey of 600 men and 600 women ages 40 to 79, it was found out that women struggled more than men in terms of four life crises including divorce, death of the spouse, and long-term job loss. It is mentioned that financial advice in life crisis are rare.
