- Abstract
The article discusses the effects of Glycosaminoglycan (GAG) and collagen on Pigment Epithelium-Derived Factor (PEDF). It mentions that heparan sulfate, heparin, and dextran sulfate facilitates degradation of PEDF by chymotrypsin. It further reports that collagen type I and glycosaminoglycans such as hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate keratan sulfate had no effect on degradation of PEDE.
