- Abstract
The article focuses on determination of a novel method to increase the transformation efficiency in bacterial cells. Nuclear transformation in pennate diatom Phaeodactylum tricornutum is described in which electro oration system is used to drive multi-sequence pulses. This helps in inducing foreign Danas into the cells. With pulse optimization diatom cells are transformed without affecting the silicon-based cell walls and high transformation efficacies is obtained.
