- Abstract
In the article the authors examine state legislation from Kentucky and its impact on the nursing profession. House bill (HB) 52 requires physical activity in schools to improve the health of children, HB 157 determines requirements for long-term care employees, and HB 252 requires nurses to receive continuing education on reflex sympathetic dystrophy. Suggestions on how nurses can become political advocates are also discussed.
