- Authors
KHAN, AMIR
- Abstract
The article discusses the application of counterfactual questions in the reading and criticism of Shakespearean tragedy such as "Hamlet." Scholar A. C. Bradley is cited for highlighting transformations in the reader's reaction to the normative behavior of the main character and the effort to understand his procrastination. It also takes note of justifications presented by professor of literature Rene Girard and W. W. Greg of his acts in light of the manifestation of hallucination.
