Abstract
The author discusses aspects of communication that becomes ineffective in the aspect of listening when someone is speaking. She explains the difference between hearing and listening and presents the fact that talking people have the tendency to interrupt, judge, analyze, criticize, and argue. The author offers tips for teachers in developing good listeners by saying it once, taking turns talking, and paying attention, pause, and paraphrase.
