- Abstract
The article discusses the study which demonstrates the job suitability method as a basis for the training evaluation by illustrating the method's application to a collected data on technicians in Naval jobs. It says that the method estimates the importance of the tasks and the average proficiency of a group of training program graduates. It mentions that providing information on the effectiveness of a training program is an important purpose of job performance. It adds that the adequate measures of job performance must be develop to identify the effectiveness of a training program.
