Davis, director of Center for Environmental Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute in Pennsylvania; Insistence of Bruce W. Dixon, director of Allegheny County Health Department in Pittsburgh, on the disadvantage of the air we breathe to our health; Concern of public health officials on protecting the sources of drinking water.
