- Abstract
The developed Islamic jurisprudence teaching materials for Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kota Jambi have some shortcomings that need to be addressed. Despite undergoing revision based on trial results and validation, there has been no comprehensive review of student needs and preferences, and a lack of active student participation in the development of these teaching materials. Additionally, time constraints faced by the researcher limited the implementation of all stages in the Borg and Gall model, potentially leaving some aspects of development not fully addressed. To address these shortcomings, further review involving active student participation in the development process is necessary, along with expanding the use of more interactive teaching methods and techniques that align with students' learning characteristics. Furthermore, the stages that have not been implemented in the Borg and Gall model need to be re-evaluated to ensure comprehensive and optimal development of teaching materials. Consequently, the development of Islamic jurisprudence teaching materials can be continuously improved to achieve higher levels of effectiveness and efficiency in motivating students' learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kota Jambi. This also presents an opportunity to develop innovative and responsive teaching strategies tailored to students' needs, thereby enhancing the quality of education at the Madrasah.
