- Abstract
Polymer Modified Concrete (PMC) is widely used in ductility design and construction of structures due to its high deformation property, but its physical performance is quite susceptible to enviromental temperature. In this research, the relationship between compressive property and environmental temperature was investigated when the polyacrylate emulsion proportion of PMC was changed. The results show that the elastic modulus, axial compressive strength and peak strain of PMC have temperature sensitivity exactly. And the temperature sensitivity increases with the increase of polymer-cement ratio. In addition, the function is derived to show the relationship between axial compressive strength and damage of PMC. The model is expected to supply references to the design and construction of PMC in cold or hot areas.
