- Abstract
Rosemary has anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, weight loss and hypoglycemic functions. In order to study the influence of its origin on composition, chemical composition and relative content of rosemary, products from Hunan, Yunnan and Henan were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and ultra-performance liquid chromatography-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-QTof-MS). Through analysis, 27 volatiles and 20 nonvolatile components were identified. The contents of compounds in rosemary from different origins are different. The research provides a reference for further exploration of potential values of rosemary.
