- Abstract
Based on the idea of contact instrument integration, a device which can be used to effectively detect the result of hole-forming and sediment in bored cast -in -place piles is developed and improved in order to solve the problems of cumbersome detection steps in hole-forming quality and sediment thickness of bored cast-in-place piles. The device comprises a support moving system, a power driving system and a detection system. The function of the device in measurement of borehole diameter and perpendicularity, sediment thickness and borehole depth is tested on the basis of the waterway regulation project of the Changjiang River Estuary on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. The results show that, compared with the existing hole forming detection equipment, the improved equipment can complete the detection of hole-forming and sediment thickness atone go. The equipment has the advantages of simple operation, wide application range, high detection accuracy, and low time and labor cost. The device has the potential of large-scale application in bored cast-in-situ pile construction and can produce better economic and social benefits.
