- Abstract
Styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) 1502 was used to replace SBR1723 to optimize the formula of the tread compound of SUV tire. The results showed that when 36.4 phr of SBR1502 and 13.6 phr of environmental aromatic oil V700 were used to replace 50 phr of SBR1723 in the tread compound, the Mooney viscosity of the compound decreased, the scorch time was basically the same, the tensile stress at a given elongation, tensile strength, elongation at break and tear strength of the vulcanizate were improved, the strength performance, low pressure durability and high speed performance of the finished tire met the requirements of the enterprise standard, the rolling resistance was slightly reduced, and the production cost was reduced.
