- Abstract
The authors reflect on the outcomes of the collaborative efforts of the drug development consortia Coalition Against Major Diseases (CAMD) and Predictive Safety Testing Consortium (PSTC) and regulatory agencies in the U.S. They discuss the functions of CAMD and PSTC launched by the nonprofit organization Critical Path Institute (C-Path). They also cite the issues that should be addressed by CAMD and PSTC including the expansion of the precompetitive space, greater data sharing and funding.
