Our analysis demonstrated that COVID-19 patients with cancer have a higher case fatality rate when compared with that of COVID-19 patients without cancer. Both analyses showed that cancer patients with COVID-19 have a higher case fatality rate than noncancer patients. The overall case fatality rate of COVID19 patients with cancer was 22.4%, which is comparable to that of Alpert and Taioli's report from a single institute (2).
