- Abstract
We propose a new mechanism for transitions of electrons from deep impurity levels to the conduction band under the action of light with photon energy E smaller than ionization energy Et of the impurity center. Energy deficiency δ = E- ℏω is covered by the kinetic energy of free electrons in the conduction band.
