Grant Will Support Restoration of Southern California's Salton Sea.
- Abstract
The article reports on the grant given by California Wildlife Conservation Board that will help in funding the restoration of habitat in the Salton Sea in Southern California. Topics mentioned include the funding given to California Department of Water Resources to construct wetland habitat for tilapia, the aim of the construction to provide food for fish-eating birds and other bird species, and the grant by the Imperial Irrigation District to restore the habitat in Red Hill Bay area.
