- Title
Care home fees 'not explained'.
- Authors
Dinsdale, Paul
- Abstract
The article reports on the care home cost for older people in Great Britain. In a report, the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) has pointed out that older people who can pay up to £ 30,000 a year for a room in a care home are often not told exactly what they are paying for. The commission also found a wide variation in the fees advertised for places in the same care home in England.
