The article discusses two court cases in Canada. In Holland v. Tri-County Regional School Board, James Holland, a school bus driver at the Tri-County Regional School Board, alleged that he had been denied a postponement of retirement by the school. Holland brought a claim before the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission, alleging discrimination on the basis of his age. New Brunswick (Human Rights Commission) v. Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc. relates to age discrimination in pension plan.
