The article emphasizes the value of the integration of health and housing systems to address the health challenges faced by low-income populations in the U.S. and the efforts of Mercy Housing Lakefront (MHL) to improve the health of its residents through partnerships with health providers. Topics covered include impact of service-enriched housing from MHL on the health of residents, and role of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in the cooperation between housing and healthcare providers.
