- Abstract
In this article, the author focuses on the court case JU v. See Tho Kai Yin filed in a court of Singapore wherein plaintiff sued her doctor for cost of raising a congenitally disabled child whom she argued that she would have aborted if she been informed of his condition. Topics discussed include legal and ethical issues surrounding claims for wrongful birth, negligently performed In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedure; and the case filed against chief embryologist and fertility clinic.
