The article summarizes the study "The Effect of a Disease Management Intervention on Quality and Outcomes of Dementia Care: A Randomized Controlled Trial," published in the November 21, 2006 issue of "Annals of Internal Medicine." The study aims to test a system that will coordinate all the care and services needed by dementia patients and their caregivers. The study involves 408 dementia patients and their caregivers.
