- Abstract
The article discusses the initiative launched by the Jewish American Society for Historic Preservation (JASHP) which involves placement of historical interpretive markers at locations of American Jewish historical interest and importance. Topics explored include the commitment of JASHP to the historical legitimacy of American Jews, the synagogues in the U.S. that have been marked by JASHP, and the collaboration between JASHP and the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial.
