The article presents a case study on the successful repair of mandibular symphyseal facture in a five-year old German shepherd dog due to automobile accident. An 8 inch long, 20 gauge stainless wire steel was introduced behind the canine teeth extended to the horizontal ramus and mucosa. It states that the wire has reduced the fracture when it was tightened.
