- Abstract
The article demonstrates the necessary steps to restore an edentulous patient using a computer-aided design/computer-assisted manufacture (CAD/CAM) titanium milled framework. It is noted that once an immediate hybrid provisional has been treatment planned, standard steps for fabricating a complete denture are taken to establish esthetics, phonetics and vertical dimension. To follow immediate fixed provisional protocol, on the day of the dental surgery it is necessary to have the temporary cylinders and distal extension attachments, the abutments, and the reinforced denture available at operation. Steps involved in the prosthetic phase of surgical appointment and prosthetic rehabilitation are outlined.
