- Abstract
The article examines the jurisdictional limits of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), in preventing global corruption and bribery. The FCPA is enforced by U.S. government agencies the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) among foreign individuals and companies. It also outlines the correspondent account liability and parent-subsidiary liability in implementing FCPA among foreign companies and individuals.
