- Abstract
The article focuses on the impact of the ethnic customary laws on the implementation of the water laws in China. Topics discussed include improvement in the water governance in the Yunnan Province, China, efficiency of the water rights distribution and the dispute resolution for the related law conflicts. It further discusses the role of the environmental customary law in improving the distribution of water resources.
