- Abstract
The ground-state phases of spin-1 Bose–Einstein condensates with SU(3) spin–orbit (SO) coupling in a rotating annular potential are studied. Under the influence of SO coupling and spin-exchange interaction, lattice, stripe and other interesting phases are found in such a trap. When rotation is considered, we find coreless vortices and singular vortices can be generated simultaneously and isolated by a nearly horizontal vortex chain, whose number is mainly dominated by SO coupling strength and rotating frequency, respectively.
