The article discusses the study which examines the correlation between the selection criteria of the Jane Addams Children's Book Award (JACBA) in 2016 and the selections awarded between 2005 and 2015. The study suggests that the award which focuses on marginalized groups, social justice, and social issues affects the production of children's literature.
