- Abstract
The existence of a multitude of rules or standards applied to building hinders the correct selection of the appropriate system depending on different needs. The main objective of this article is finding those applicable to the use stage of putting the focus on asset management systems, building maintenance standards, rehabilitation and energy efficiency of buildings. Through an analytical methodology based on the study of the major agencies drafting rules and standards at international, continental and national levels, are selected rules of each organism are grouped. Are studied in order of relevance and thematic and literature about their degree of implementation in organizations is reviewed. Result of this methodology, we obtain a classification of standards applicable to management, building, energy efficiency and maintenance at different levels. In conclusion, there is established the main rules of application in the stage of use and maintenance of buildings: UNE-EN ISO 50001, UNE-ISO 55001, UNE-EN 15331:2012 y UNE-EN 16464:2015. Likewise, the lack of information on the implementation of most rules listed in this article is verified.
