- Abstract
The article discusses a study which compares the immediate effect of various whole-body vibration (WBV) accelerations on counter movement jump (CJM) height, the duration of any effect and differences between men and women. The study showed that men and women respond differently to WBV during the prescription period. It is suggested that WBV might be a useful modality as applied during the pre-competition warm-up.
