- Abstract
The article presents a study which describes a clinical vibriosis caused by Vibrio anguillarum in Cyclopterus lumpus, a marine fish also known as the lumpsucker, in Scotland. The use of the lumpsucker as a cleaner fish for biological control of sea lice on Atlantic salmon is highlighted. Pathological and bacteriological examinations of the fishes confirmed the diagnosis of vibriosis.
