- Abstract
The article focuses on the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Haeger v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. on failure of discovery responsibility through miscalculation or through outright cheating. It mentions concerned about the risk of cheating defendant than the cheating itself and the risk such behavior poses for civil litigation at large. It also mentions failure to see the Haeger result as problematic should be disturbing to the legal profession.
