The article discusses a three-dimensional morphologic perspective of periodontal tissues. A study was conducted using microscopes to determine morphohistologic changes to buccolingual surfaces in specific interdental papilla. Four patients were chosen with morphologic changes which could be attributed to several dental issues such as calculus and inflammation but were actually unrelated following microscopic study.
