- Abstract
The article discusses recent developments in the global securitization markets. Airlie CDO Management sold off its collateralized loan obligation (CLO) 2006-1 to Lehman Brothers Asset Management as a result of parent company Airlie Group's decision to leave the arena. Nomura Securities International reportedly is negotiating to transfer its commercial mortgage-backed securities business over to Centerline Capital Group. The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) is said to be working toward eliminating qualifying special purpose entity status by the beginning of 2009.
