- Abstract
The article discusses several developments involving ad hoc international criminal tribunals including the International Criminal Tribunals for the Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda as of September 2013. Various legal cases are examined, including criminal matters which address topics such as genocide, verbal abuse based on religion and ethnicity, and the deliberate destruction of mosques and civilian homes. A trial involving the Bosnian Serb paramilitary leader Milan Lukić is also examined.
