- Abstract
The article discusses the classical allusions to the dance of stars and gods. The author said that dancing gods is Christianized by the neoplatonists and is expressly articulated by Dionysius. The sacred dance became an essential image during the renaissance art and literature period because of the neoplatonists' works. Plato stated that the divine gift of dancing was dedicated to man by the muses to celebrate the religious festivals after his task.
