- Abstract
The Spanish architect Martín Domínguez arrived in La Habana in 1937 due to the civil war in Spain, which would become a very long exile during which he became a reference figure of Cuban architecture, working with some of the most important architects of the Island. In this research we will study his first months in La Habana, his first work related to architecture, his contribution to El Diario de la Marina, and the essence of his political and social views.
