- Abstract
Information about the authors' proposal to conserve the plant name Aspicilia farinosa with a conserved type is presented. They note that Aspicilia farinosa is a name that has been applied to a widely distributed and well delimited crustose lichen species in southern Europe and northern Africa. They add that the said plant is included in influential lichen floras and checklists that covers the areas like Ozenda and Clauzade.
